Chapter 1

History of the creation.

1)InAnd it came to pass, that the beginningLord Godspake createdunto theMoses, saying, Behold, I reveal unto you concerning this heaven and this earth; write the earthwords which I speak.

2)I am the Beginning and the End; the Almighty God. By mine Only Begotten I created these things.

3)Yea, in the beginning I created the heaven, and the earth upon which thou standest.

4)And the earth was without form, and void; and I caused darkness wasto come up upon the face of the deep.

5)And themy Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters, for I am God.

36)And I, God, said, Let there be light:, and there was light.

47)And I, God, saw the light, and that itlight was good:. andAnd I, God, divided the light from the darkness.

58)And I, God, called the light Dayday, and the darkness heI called Nightnight. And this I did by the word of my power; and it was done as I spake. And the evening and the morning were the first day.

69)And again, I, God, said, Let there be a firmament in the midst of the waters,; and letit was so, even as I spake. And I said, Let it divide the waters from the waters; and it was done.

710)And I, God, made the firmament, and divided the waters; whichyea, werethe great waters under the firmament, from the waters which were above the firmament:; and it was so, even as I spake.

811)And I, God, called the firmament Heavenheaven. And the evening and the morning were the second day.

912)And I, God, said, Let the waters under the heaven be gathered together unto one place,; and letit thewas so. And I, God, said, Let there be dry land appear:; and it was so.

1013)And I, God, called the dry land Earthearth; and the gathering together of the waters called heI Seas:the andsea.

14)And I, God, saw that itall wasthings which I had made were good.

1115)And I, God, said, Let the earth bring forth grass,; the herb yielding seed, and; the fruit tree yielding fruit after his kind, whose seed is in itself, upon the earth: and it was so. 12)And the earth brought forth grass, and herb yielding seed after his kind,; and the tree yielding fruit, whose seed should be in itself, upon the earth; and it was so, even as I spake.

16)And the earth brought forth grass; every herb yielding seed after his kind; and the tree yielding fruit, whose seed should be in itself, after his kind:.

17)And andI, God, saw that itall wasthings which I had made were good. 13) And the evening and the morning were the third day.

1418)And I, God, said, Let there be lights in the firmament of the heaven, to divide the day from the night; and let them be for signs, and for seasons, and for days and for years, and years: 15)And let them be for lights in the firmament of the heaven, to give light upon the earth:; and it was so.

1619)And I, God, made two great lights; the greater light to rule the day, and the lesser light to rule the night:; heand madethe greater light was the sun, and the lesser light was the moon.

20)And the stars also. 17)And were made, even according to my word; and I, God, set them in the firmament of the heaven, to give light upon the earth, 18)And; and the sun to rule over the day, and the moon to rule over the night, and to divide the light from the darkness:.

21)And andI, God, saw that itall wasthings which I had made were good. 19) And the evening and the morning were the fourth day.

2022)And I, God, said, Let the waters bring forth abundantly, the moving creature that hath life, and fowl thatwhich may fly above the earth, in the open firmament of heaven.

2123)And I, God, created great whales, and every living creature that moveth, which the waters brought forth abundantly, after their kind,; and every winged fowl, after his kind:.

24)And andI, God, saw that itall wasthings which I had created were good. 22)And; and I, God, blessed them, saying, Be fruitful, and multiply, and fill the waters in the seassea, and let fowl multiply in the earth. 23) And the evening and the morning were the fifth day.

2425)And I, God, said, Let the earth bring forth the living creature, after his kind,; cattle, and creeping thingthings, and beastbeasts of the earth, after histheir kind:; and it was so.

2526)And I, God, made the beastbeasts of the earth, after histheir kind,; and cattle after their kind,; and everyeverything thing thatwhich creepeth upon the earth, after his kind:. andAnd I, God, saw that itall wasthese things were good.

2627)And I, God, said unto mine Only Begotten, which was with me from the beginning, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness:; and letit was so.

28)And I, God, said, Let them have dominion over the fishfishes of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth.

2729)SoAnd I, God, created man in hismine own image, in the image of Godmine Only Begotten created heI him; male and female created heI them.

2830)And I, God, blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it:; and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth.

2931)And I, God, said unto man, Behold, I have given you every herb, bearing seed, which is upon the face of all the earth,; and every tree, in the which isshall be the fruit of a tree, yielding seed; to you it shall be for meat.

3032)And to every beast of the earth, and to every fowl of the air, and to every thingeverything that creepeth upon the earth, wherein thereI isgrant life, Ithere haveshall be given every greenclean herb for meat:; and it was so, even as I spake.

3133)And I, God, saw every thingeverything that heI had made, and, behold, itall wasthings which I had made were very good. And the evening and the morning were the sixth day.
