Revelation given to Joseph Smith the Prophet, at Hiram, Ohio, March 1832 (see History of the Church, 1:253–55). The Prophet wrote, “In connection with the translation of the Scriptures, I received the following explanation of the Revelation of St. John” (History of the Church, 1:253).
